A Folk Art Scratch Built Hand Painted Sailor’s Chest Money Box

A Delightful and rare one of a kind painted antique scratch built Stool figural money box in the style of a sailor’s chest.

Sign written with the name Harold to the top and a ‘C’ in a cartouche to the reverse. Possibly Scandinavian. 

L18cm W7cm H13.5cm.

The base has been removed at some point to access the coins however this could easily be replaced if so desired however it makes no difference to the appearance of the box. It displays really well.
