A Delightful Original French Painting, Illustration of a Girl with her Skipping Rope

This delightful art work is an original sketch with watercolour in an oval gesso frame. 

It dates to the 1800’s and is French. It was a popular style of childhood portraiture. 

The painting is in very good condition however the frame has a few losses but this does not detract from the beauty or rarity of this lovely little celebration of childhood.
