A Rare Macfarlane Lang Strawberry Punnet collector’s tin

A weathered and worn example of a very sought-after MacFarlane Lang biscuit tin very early 20th century.

Portrayed to be in the shape of a strawberry punnet, this  was produced with its well-known brother The Birds Nest tin which is also a lovely and sought-after  tin.

The lid is embossed printed and the sides printed to portray a basket. 

L12.5cm W10.5cm H6.5cm.

Sadly this tin has been well loved and has losses, especially to the printed basket however it still displays well and is even in this condition, a most prized addition to any collection of rare vintage tins.
