A wonderful Large Glazed Victorian Stoneware Ginger Jar

A wonderful glazed Victorian stoneware ginger jar in fantastic condition.

These were originally produced in China in the 1800's for importing ginger to Europe. Each jar retains its own original character as they were hand thrown and glazed individually. You can often see the thumb prints of the artist in these pieces making these really interesting and beautiful to collect. Original rust patina.
