A charming antique stoneware bottle bearing the impressed NASSAU seal and moulded No. 6 designation.
Made from robust salt-glazed stoneware, this bottle was originally used for the storage and transport of mineral water, beer, spirits or household liquids. The impressed Nassau mark relates to the historic Nassau region of Germany, renowned during the 19th century for its mineral springs and stoneware production.
The bottle features a traditional cylindrical form with integral handle and a warm honey-brown salt-glazed finish. The impressed Nassau seal remains clearly visible to the front, while the shoulder carries the moulded No. 6 capacity mark.
Today it makes a wonderful decorative piece for a farmhouse kitchen, pantry display, country house interior or stoneware collection.
