Early 20th Century Dalmatian Car Mascot c.1920–30

A wonderfully characterful early 20th-century cast metal car mascot, modelled as an elegant Dalmatian with its distinctive spotted coat.

Dating to around the 1920s–30s, the flat reverse has a central mounting boss, consistent with its anecdotal attribution as a period radiator or motor car mascot. The screw to the reverse appears to be a later replacement.

A charming and unusual piece of early motoring memorabilia, with a lovely aged surface and patina.
