A refined, atmospheric angel with mica wings and chenille stole

A beautifully atmospheric mid-20th-century German Christmas angel, crafted between the 1940s and 1960s and retaining her original mica-dusted wings, chenille stole and softly gathered gown. Her delicate moulded features, framed by full blonde curls, give her an enchanting presence — the sort once found in European festive displays and traditional tree-top arrangements.

This angel is accompanied by oral provenance indicating that she once formed part of the Bletchley Museum collection, adding an appealing note of cultural and historical interest (no written documentation survives).
