A charming Victorian silver-plated trinket dish dating to the late 19th century, featuring an ornate embossed Gothic Revival design and raised on four ball feet.
The central panel displays intricate scrolling foliate decoration within a quatrefoil cartouche, framed by a beautifully fluted border. The registered design number Rd 63218 is cast into the rim, helping to date the piece to the Victorian period.
Originally intended for use as a pin tray, calling card receiver or dressing table dish, it is equally suited today for holding jewellery, rings, keys or other treasured small items.
The silver plating has developed a soft aged patina that enhances its antique character and decorative appeal.
